About
"Black Ribbons and Ravens of Gold" Project started taking real shape and life in 2015, until then the project being on the list of things to dream about, conceive and bake in the head, so to speak." It took perhaps a couple of years before I felt that I had the means and perhaps moods, or skills, I don't know" says the author of the series "but in the end I got it moving on."
The first 11 planned works were realised in graphite on paper that was afterwards treated with China black ink, to this first collection in the series, the Black and Whites, being added the coloured version of the original illustrations with a left-out and an add-to for the completion of a total of 22 graphic illustrations, the works that are available in this collection, being listed on the online SHOP here.
Of course, you can think about contributing in other ways, or write and ask us for support or suggestions if not actual direct help from us with the type of art you'd like to purchase with the intent for the money to go to people that suffer of cancer or to organisations and institutions that need the money to offer them the proper support and help.

Vision
This project with the title "Black Ribbons and Ravens of Gold" started as a response to the prayers and tears of the family for the members affected by this disease. It was a moment of actual heavy awareness that moved the author and the later added to the "show" people who wanted to help and be part of it. And so they did and some of them will continue their attempts of being of actual help through the works they have donated, one way or another.
We take this seriously, perhaps a little too personally, which is always a guarantee of the strong feelings that we have against this disease, and we do believe that this new group we set the name as B.Rogue is going to make a little difference as we are trying to offer our belief that life can be good after death; that pain can be eased and that a clean, decent environment and path to the best resolution must be set. It's an ugly fight; we know this by now. The guess goes even further back in time when only children playing in the park, building castles of sand and having deep moments of silence in which rage against all pain became a reality transforming ourselves in pain itself.
