Saints and friends is a project through which representations of saints one would not suspect are brought together in a team formed of usual people as well. It is a hard to take path, at times, the one of such a mix, but the results always proved some of the best possible. 

This gathering may be seen as a reflection of the world that, at times, finds a saint hidden in a tramp and vice-versa, or a real beast, an animal caught in the shape of a human. But why all that? Is it meant to enlighten? Is it to guide well? Is it intended to make something beautiful happen or bring-up beauty? And what is beauty to you? What is right for you? And, probably a better question: Why? Why are things the way they are to you?

Through this project we propose sessions of awareness and actions-take against this disease through information, guidance and simple self-help methods to help patients, family and medical staff go through the entire situation in the easiest, smoothest and less painful manner possible. We believe that meditation and innocent pleasure-takes that cannot harm the patient but improve the quality of their life during and after the treatment is the option. Mental health is the most important factor in all this. It is proven that people with greater capacity of accepting and learning to their own benefit do have greater chances of survival, recovery and perhaps not a full return to their past lives but an improvement of their condition and a change that becomes a more significant and helpful one. One can learn a great load of interesting, great, wise and even funny things from people who experienced death or close to death situations. It is good to let them speak, tell their story and, if we can, be there for them to give a helping hand.
